Located a few hours west of Havana in Pinar del Río Province, the lush Viñales Valley is the heart of Cuba’s tobacco-producing region. This impossibly beautiful valley is dotted with karst limestone peaks known in Spanish as mogotes, and filled with farms where the fields are still plowed by oxen. Here visitors get a taste of the old-fashioned agrarian economy that still can be found throughout Cuba.

It’s all about taking in the beauty and local way of life in Viñales, so we suggest hiking, biking, caving and horseback riding; there are a variety of options that we tailor to your needs and interests.
